The Story of Game Fight Bradford
Game Fight Bradford exists to give families in Bradford access to authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — taught with structure, discipline and purpose.
Where It All Began
In 1998, Coach Maj was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by his brother. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong commitment after they discovered Game Fight Leeds and began training under Coach Mabsy.
Under Coach Mabsy’s guidance, their skill, discipline and passion grew year after year. As their proficiency increased, so did a bigger vision: Bradford’s youth deserved access to this art. With the blessing of Coach Mabsy, that vision became reality — Game Fight Bradford was born.

The first unit opened on Heaton Road, Bradford. In the beginning there was just one class running each week — small numbers, big belief. The mission was simple: give young people direction, build confidence through discipline, and create a positive, safe training environment.
Serving the Heart of Bradford
From the beginning, the goal was always clear: serve the core communities of BD7, BD8, BD9 and BD3 — the heart of Bradford. Today, Game Fight Bradford operates from a state-of-the-art facility in BD9, just around the corner from where it all started.

Game Fight Bradford isn’t just a martial arts academy. It’s a community built on respect, discipline, hard work, accountability and brotherhood & sisterhood. Our purpose has never changed: to give the people of Bradford access to authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a place to grow stronger — physically, mentally and spiritually.
